Digital Strategy 2022 - 2025

Digital Strategy

Our new Digital Strategy 2023 – 2026 titled Embracing today, shaping tomorrow, sets the vision, goals and reform activities for improving the use of digital technologies in South Australian government schools.

Our vision will ensure that all children and students have engaging and empowering digital learning experiences to help improve achievement and better prepare them to live, learn and work in the future; all educators are equipped to deliver effective and authentic digitally enabled teaching to the benefit of all learners; all children’s centres, preschools and schools have the expertise, systems and supports to continually improve their digital approach, including providing their students and educators with equitable access to devices and technologies; and all central staff have the technology and digital capability they need to work effectively and productively, delivering the services, programs  and policy our education system needs to be world-class.
Through this strategy we will apply a focus to the following five key areas:

  • Strengthening our digital foundations
  • Building our digital capability
  • Maximising the benefits of digital technologies for teaching and learning
  • Streamlining and modernising our operations
  • Mobilising ICT support where it is needed

Through a focus on these areas, we will ensure learning and growth is enabled for every child, in every class, in every school and preschool across the state. We will consider emerging technologies and how they best complement our education system now, and into years to come. Our Digital Strategy sets the roadmap to improve our approach to digital across the system, and to position our students for the future.
