A leading financial institution in Melbourne is seeking a Workflow & Process Improvement Consultant to play a pivotal role in an ongoing transformation. This opportunity offers the chance to make a impact by streamlining onboarding, enhancing operational efficiency, and delivering meaningful change across the business. You will be at the forefront of workflow design using PEGA, collaborating with business and technology teams to ensure practical, measurable outcomes.

We are seeking a sharp, business-focused Workflow & Process Transformation Consultant with experience in process improvement, business execution, and PEGA implementation. This is not a technical role – we want someone who is hands-on, business-savvy, who can connect and lead engagements to uplift processes and operating models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive business transformation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Gather and document business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation of PEGA as a workflow tool across operations.
  • Deliver training, UAT coordination, and documentation for newly designed workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with business and tech teams to bridge the gap, ensuring outcomes are practical and deliver measurable value.
  • Design and implement scalable, future-state processes to support operating model maturity.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

  • Proven business improvement / transformation experience in financial services (FS)
  • Strong requirement gathering skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Hands-on experience with PEGA workflow implementation
  • Comfortable running training, facilitating UAT, and preparing test cases.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity, prioritise effectively, and execute independently.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to engage both business and technical teams.
  • Experience working in complex FS environments, with awareness of risk, compliance, and operational controls.
