The role is more than just a client based role, you will be contributing to client retention and the growth of the business. You will have the opportunity to retain funds, build relationships and identify new investments.

The Business Development Associate will have the opportunity to gain exposure across the business, including operations, distribution, and investment teams, and play a key part in maintaining the business reputation for outstanding client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, helping to deepen their engagement Be the first point of contact for all external client and adviser queries – taking ownership of their experience and managing their journey within the business.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to all client and adviser communications via phone and email.
  • Assist in on boarding, application and redemption processes, providing clear guidance and support.
  • Maintaining well-organised client databases and ensuring CRM systems are accurate.
  • Investigate and resolve client service issues and escalate queries where needed to broader teams and BDM's.
  • Assist in tracking and following up on sales leads and investor interest.

Role Requirements:

  • A degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics.
  • Minimum two years experience in financial services with exposure to high volume calling (you will need to speak to sophisticated clients)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel)
