As Assistant Company Secretary, you will work closely with the Company Secretary and Board of Directors, ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements while supporting business operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Board & Committee Support – Preparing agendas, minutes, and reports for board and committee meetings
  • Corporate Governance – Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements under the Corporations Act, Life Insurance Act, APRA and ASIC guidelines
  • Statutory Filings & Legal Compliance – Managing company records and filings with regulatory bodies
  • Policy Development & Risk Management – Assisting with the review and implementation of governance policies
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Coordinating communication between the board, executive teams, and external regulators

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong organisational, legal, and corporate governance expertise. Ideally, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in law, business, or governance-related fields
  • Experience in company secretarial roles corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with APRA and ASIC regulations, life insurance governance, and corporate structures
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
