Customer Service Specialist

Job Title – Customer Service Specialist Location – Parramatta Contract Length – 12 months Start Date – Must be able to start by Monday 8th September, please note there are 4 weeks of background checks that you must successfully pass.

What will I be doing?

  • Engaging with inbound and outbound calls, and online live chats
  • Working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, keeping up to date with customer queries and needs
  • Thinking heavily on your feet – have a critical mindset and back yourself when making a decision, confidence is key here!
  • Managing processes with high sensitivity

What do I need?

  • Previous contact centre experience, with comfort handling high volume calls
  • Strong customer service skills, with complete confidence in your work
  • High empathy, but with a detective mindset
  • Ability to think fast

Please note, candidates with previous experience in fraud or scams will be favourable.

What does the work look like? All rotas will be provided in advance

  • Rotating shifts, which can include nights, weekends and public holidays – overtime rates and compensation included
  • Day shifts – 7am-8pm, Night shifts – 10pm – 6am (your taxi ride home will be reimbursed)
  • WFH flexibility after probation
  • 3.5 weeks of training (9am-5pm)

Please note, candidates must have no upcoming holidays booked for the remainder of the year. This role will only be available to candidates who are Australian Citizens or hold Permanent Residency.
