Customer Service Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Customer Service Officer to join a highly supportive and collaborative team based in Melbourne’s CBD, with the flexibility of remote working. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building positive relationships, providing exceptional customer support, and ensuring seamless contractor onboarding and retention.

You will be at the heart of client communications, supporting users through various channels including phone, email, live chat, and virtual meetings. What you'll do:

  • Guide new contractors through onboarding and documentation.
  • Provide user support via phone, email, chat, or meetings.
  • Manage contractor portfolios and renewals.
  • Handle admin tasks like data entry and invoicing.
  • Monitor and escalate system errors.
  • Canvass by phone to introduce new products.
  • Assist in report generation and attend meetings.
  • Refer clients for compliance documentation help.
  • Help train and integrate new team members.

What you bring:

  • At least two years experience working in customer support.
  • Experienced with Salesforce or other CRM tools is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS 365 apps like Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent communicator, able to simplify complex info with empathy.
  • Experienced in onboarding or administrative tasks in compliance-driven fields.
  • Team player who participates in reviews, knowledge sharing, and projects.
  • Detail-oriented and adaptable, maintaining accurate records.
