P04 Senior Legal Officer
Our client is seeking a Senior Legal Officer to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide legal and policy advice, ensuring the organisation's legal compliance. You will be working independently, leading and operationalising project outcomes, and providing secretariat support. This is a temporary full-time position, offering flexible working hours until September 2025.
What you'll do:
As a Senior Legal Officer, your role will be pivotal in providing legal and policy advice to ensure the organisation's legal compliance. You will work independently, leading projects from inception through to completion. Your ability to identify and respond to the operational impact of new or adjusted jurisdictions will be crucial in this role. Additionally, you will prepare draft practice directions, notices, instruments or forms while ensuring the legal content of any related web content and registry policies or procedures are accurate. Your excellent communication skills will be utilised as you liaise with a range of legal and government stakeholders on issues relevant to business.
- Provide legal and policy advice under the supervision of the Principal Legal Officer.
- Lead and operationalise project outcomes.
- Provide secretariat support to the Rules Committee.
- Identify and respond to the operational impact of new or adjusted jurisdictions conferred on the organisation.
- Prepare draft practice directions, notices, instruments or forms, and check the legal content of any related web content and registry policies or procedures.
- Work with a range of legal and government stakeholders on issues relevant to business.
- Prepare briefing notes, advice, reports and other correspondence to inform and advise on key legal and policy matters.
