A government agency focused on Aboriginal policy and community outcomes is currently recruiting for multiple, ASAP start roles. These are 6-month contract positions (with potential for long term opportunity), ideal for professionals with experience in Aboriginal policy and a passion for making a difference. Policy Analyst – Grade 9/10

• Conduct research and analysis to support policy development
• Provide expert advice and engage with communities and stakeholders
• Monitor and evaluate policy outcomes
• Requirements: 2+ years in government, experience in Aboriginal policy, strong communication skills

🔹 Principal Policy or Planning Officer – Grade 11/12

• Lead complex policy projects and provide strategic advice
• Conduct research and evaluate social and economic impacts
• Prepare high-level reports and submissions
• Requirements: 2+ years in government, tertiary qualifications, leadership experience, strong stakeholder engagement

🔹 Governance and Secretariat Specialist – Grade 11/12

• Provide governance and secretariat support to senior executives and advisory bodies
• Manage agendas, minutes, and policy documentation
• Advise on governance frameworks and continuous improvement
• Requirements: 2+ years in governance/secretariat roles, experience in government, strong analytical and communication skills

🔹 Senior Project Analyst – Grade 11/12

• Coordinate the agency’s response to a recent audit
• Develop implementation plans and monitor progress
• Prepare reports and ensure accountability for recommendations
• Requirements: 2+ years in government, project management experience, strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills
