About the Role
As the Project Manager you will be responsible for the successful management and delivery of projects within this department. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects, ensuring alignment and consistency with organisational strategy, frameworks and methodologies. This is achieved through appropriate resource management, change management, project coordination, documentation and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct, coordinate, and implement projects in line with this department’s methodologies.
- Develop and manage project management artefacts and financial tools.
- Oversee contract administration and supplier agreements.
- Lead and optimise the project team’s strengths and resources.
- Prioritise project activities, manage risks, and ensure milestones are met.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Integrate IT, infrastructure, process, and organisational elements into projects.
- Manage project budgets and prepare financial reports for executive review.
What you will bring to the role
- Demonstrated experience in preparation of reports and responses to commissions of inquiry.
- Industry sector experience and/or knowledge.
- Experience participating in reform or innovation initiatives.
