Temporary Human Resources Coordinator available to join a renowned international entertainment organisation based in the heart of Sydney CBD. What you'll do:
As a Human Resources Coordinator based in Sydney CBD, you will immerse yourself in every aspect of the employee journey—managing records with precision, producing insightful analytics for leadership teams, facilitating seamless onboarding experiences for new hires, and ensuring that payroll processes run smoothly each month. Your day-to-day activities will see you collaborating closely with both local stakeholders and global teams to deliver best-in-class HR services. You will be responsible for administering key HR projects that enhance organisational effectiveness while acting as a trusted advisor to employees seeking guidance on policies or employment matters. By consolidating training needs and supporting learning initiatives, you will help nurture talent across the business. Your ability to maintain compliance with evolving legislation ensures that company policies remain up-to-date. - Manage all systems of record including HR data in HRIS, ensuring e-files are created, updated, archived accurately and securely while maintaining compliance at all times.
- Participate actively in global HRIS projects and other initiatives as required by the Director of Human Resources or VP HR, contributing valuable insights from local operations.
- Design and produce analytical reports and statistics across multiple HR data matrices to inform senior management decision-making processes.
- Oversee monthly and quarterly headcount reconciliation and reporting needs for data analytics purposes, running ad hoc reports as needed.
- Lead the end-to-end employee lifecycle process from onboarding through to offboarding, ensuring all documentation is prepared efficiently and induction programmes are delivered effectively.
- Facilitate new employee orientation training sessions as well as exit interviews for departing staff members to ensure smooth transitions.
- Partner closely with Payroll to guarantee timely processing of monthly payrolls and governmental claims documentation while identifying root causes of any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with the Global Benefits Team and external vendors to facilitate benefit renewals, payment processing, and provide employees with a positive experience regarding their claims.
- Act as an effective advisor for local staff by providing sound judgement on HR matters in alignment with the HR Director’s guidance.
- Consolidate training needs against business strategy and organise delivery of learning initiatives that support talent development and employee engagement.

- Sound understanding of local employment law/legislation relevant to Australia (and ideally New Zealand), along with proficiency in technology including MS Office; experience using SAP HRIS is preferred.
