What you'll do:

As a Recruitment Officer based in Camperdown, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future workforce by managing the full spectrum of recruitment activities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close consultation with hiring managers to understand their unique requirements, devising effective strategies that attract top talent while upholding organisational values. You will be entrusted with maintaining meticulous records, ensuring compliance with established procedures, and achieving set performance indicators. Your ability to communicate clearly with candidates will help build robust talent pools and enhance the overall candidate experience. Working collaboratively within a supportive HR team, you will also take ownership of stakeholder engagement—addressing queries promptly and fostering an atmosphere of trust.   • Coordinate the entire recruitment process from initial role identification through to onboarding, ensuring all procedures are followed with clarity and precision.
  • Consult closely with Hiring Managers to develop tailored recruitment strategies that align with organisational goals and workforce planning needs.
  • Proactively manage candidate communications, building strong talent pools of evaluated individuals while maintaining high standards of candidate care.
  • Maintain comprehensive recruitment documentation and consistently achieve individual recruitment KPIs by promoting best practices across all activities.
  • Collaborate effectively within the HR team to uphold shared values and foster a culture of operational excellence throughout the department.
  • Take responsibility for stakeholder communications by addressing concerns promptly and nurturing a culture of trust and collaboration both within the immediate work area and across departments.
  • Facilitate timely submission of reports, ensure data integrity in line with organisational systems, and partner with managers to advance compliance initiatives.
  • Oversee purchasing processes related to recruitment activities, resolving any discrepancies in payment schedules efficiently.
  • Champion proactive health and safety measures by reviewing protocols regularly and collaborating cross-functionally to maintain consistent safety standards.
  • Undertake additional work activities relevant to key accountability's as approved by management, ensuring alignment with the role’s classification level.

  • Experience delivering end-to-end recruitment services including candidate care, market research, strategy implementation, and onboarding support.
  • Ability to interpret labour market data accurately in order to inform business decisions related to workforce planning or talent acquisition strategies.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of training and experience suitable for this level of responsibility.
