Senior DevOps Engineer

In this hands-on role, you'll design, build, and support infrastructure across hybrid environments—on-prem and cloud—while helping shape product development from the ground up. You'll work with modern DevOps tools and practices, automate deployments, optimise pipelines, and ensure high system reliability through containerised environments like Kubernetes and RedHat OpenShift.

You'll collaborate closely with software engineers and end users—deploying solutions in real-world environments, capturing feedback, and driving continuous improvement. What you’ll do:

• Design and manage secure infrastructure to support cyber security product development and delivery
• Work across cloud and on-prem environments using virtualisation and containerisation
• Build and maintain automation pipelines (CI/CD) that ensure reliable and efficient deployments
• Provide technical support during deployments and onboard users to new platforms
• Collaborate on system design, performance monitoring, and root cause analysis
• Document processes, best practices, and support procedures for internal teams

What you’ll bring:

• Proven experience in DevOps, systems engineering, or infrastructure roles
• Strong scripting or coding ability in languages like Python, Java, C#, or similar
• Deep knowledge of container platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Experience working across both cloud and virtualised environments
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Australian Citizenship is essential for security clearance eligibility
