L2 Network Engineer (Hands-On | MPLS | Data Centre)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2 support across data centre, carrier, and client environments
• Configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade routing, switching, and firewall infrastructure (Cisco, Palo Alto)
• Support MPLS services and WAN migrations across customer environments
• Conduct onsite visits for hardware installs, diagnostics, and project work
• Contribute to risk remediation and reporting activities

About You:

You bring a strong networking foundation and have worked across both enterprise and service provider-style environments. You’re comfortable with customer-facing work and enjoy being in the field when required. You're hands-on with network infrastructure and take ownership of issues from start to resolution.

What You Bring:

• Experience with Cisco routing & switching (OSPF, BGP) in multi-site or multi-tenant environments
• Familiarity with packet-level troubleshooting (Wireshark or similar)
• Strong communication skills and professional presence for client-facing work
• Exposure to MPLS environments (QoS, dedicated traffic paths)
• Experience with hardware lifecycle (monitoring, patching, warranty)
• Ticketing system experience and access point deployments
• Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel onsite when required
