ICT Support Site Officer - 12-month fixed term contract

Join a large K-12 school, part of a respected educational institution renowned for its commitment to academic excellence, where student well being is at the heart of everything they do. Prior experience in the education industry will be highly regarded. This role is a 12-month fixed term contract with a possibility of conversion to permanent full-time employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for ICT-related queries and incidents within the school.
  
• Provide hands-on support across a range of hardware, software, networking, AV and end-user devices
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with a calm, methodical and customer-focused approach
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including asset registers and internal guides
  
• Support the delivery of ICT projects such as system upgrades and device deployments in collaboration with the wider ICT team
  
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with staff, students, parents and vendors through clear and effective communication
  

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a technical support or helpdesk role, ideally within an education or customer-facing environment
  
• Proven troubleshooting skills across desktops, networks, printers, AV equipment and mobile devices
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical users
  
• Sound knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Microsoft 365, including basic administration and user management
  
• Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with the broader team
  
• Strong sense of ownership, initiative and pride in delivering dependable ICT support
  
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and a methodical approach to documentation and follow-through
