Program Manager - Facilities Management

Our client, a leading government organisation, is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee facilities initiatives within a large and dynamic property portfolio. A key aspect of the role is the management of a contracted Managed Service Provider (MSP), ensuring high-quality service delivery, operational excellence, and compliance with government standards. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to strategic programs that directly impact public infrastructure and workplace services.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the performance oversight of a contracted Managed Service Provider, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and KPIs.
• Drive strategic program delivery across facilities and property services, with a focus on governance, risk management, and continuous improvement.
• Manage high-level stakeholder engagement, contract escalations, and service optimisation efforts.
• Develop policies and initiatives that align with government compliance, sustainability goals, and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support effective program execution and service delivery across government sites.

🎯 Key Requirements

• Extensive experience in program or project management, preferably within the public sector or large-scale facilities environments.
• Demonstrated success in managing outsourced service models or vendor relationships.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of influencing a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to drive performance improvement and deliver outcomes within structured governance frameworks.
• Relevant qualifications in Facilities Management, Project Management, Business, or related fields.
