Growth Advisor
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in empowering small to medium-sized businesses to thrive on one of the world’s most recognised platforms. You will provide strategic advice, hands-on support, and tailored coaching to help sellers optimise their listings, enhance their seller health, and achieve ambitious business goals.
What you'll do:
- Conduct personalised consultations with assigned sellers to understand their unique business objectives, challenges, and aspirations.
- Deliver tailored recommendations and proactive coaching designed to identify scaling opportunities and improve overall seller performance on the platform.
- Assist sellers in optimising product listings, enhancing seller health metrics, and refining marketing efforts to maximise visibility and sales.
- Educate sellers on utilising a comprehensive suite of marketing tools and promotional campaigns throughout the year, including planning collaborative marketing calendars for key events.
- Develop and implement bespoke growth strategies that align with each seller’s goals while staying attuned to evolving market trends.
- Identify new avenues for sellers to expand their product offerings and reach untapped customer segments through strategic planning.
- Collaborate with sellers to create actionable plans, set measurable targets, and monitor progress towards achieving growth milestones.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with sellers by serving as their primary point of contact for ongoing support, inquiries, and feedback sessions.
- Stay informed about industry developments, competitive dynamics, and consumer behaviour to provide relevant market insights.
- Analyse seller performance data rigorously to uncover areas for improvement, generate actionable reports for both sellers and internal teams, and advocate internally for enhancements based on seller feedback.
What you bring:
- Demonstrated experience in buying, trading or merchandising within an online retail or small-to-medium business environment or specialised vertical knowledge gained from similar roles.
- At least two years’ commercial or sales experience within a targeted environment where meeting or exceeding goals was essential.
- A proven track record of identifying market opportunities that drive revenue growth while expanding market share through effective relationship management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets into clear strategic insights that inform decision-making processes.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities combined with meticulous attention to detail when managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Outstanding communication skills that enable you to influence credibly at all levels within an organisation while fostering positive interactions.
- A natural aptitude for building relationships founded on integrity, reliability, maturity, and mutual respect.
- Excellent time management capabilities alongside advanced project management skills that ensure deadlines are consistently met without compromising quality.
