Technical Business Analyst

We are recruiting a Technical Business Analyst for a program within the Enterprise Change Delivery portfolio. This project was initiated due to Australia's superannuation sector experiencing a coordinated wave of cyber attacks leveraging infostealer malware and the response regarding the protection of member accounts. The role is for a 12-month duration and the project has an immediate need to fill this position.

1. Strong Core BA skills:
   • Requirements Gathering & Analysis

• Process Modelling
• Stakeholder Management

• Ability to lead workshops or stakeholder interviews to identify gaps in current-state processes and technologies and propose options/solution

Essential Strategic and Soft Skills:

• A critical thinker with the ability to evaluate complex systems and identify potential security and business impacts
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into business-friendly language for stakeholders (both written and oral)

Information Security Experience:

• Ability to undertake Risk Assessments through the identification, evaluation, and prioritisation of risks

• Ability to translate Information Security policies into actionable technical and business requirements
• An understanding of authentication protocols and how they protect member portals
• Familiarity with encryption, secure data storage, and handling of Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
• Familiarity with tools like SIEM (e.g., Splunk), IDS/IPS, firewalls, antivirus, and vulnerability scanners
• Knowledge of phishing, credential stuffing, and other cyber threats targeting online member accounts
