Senior Investment Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Investment Accountant to join a leading global infrastructure manager. This role offers the chance to work within a dynamic team, focusing on servicing an open-ended core infrastructure fund and its associated entities. The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary of $125,000 - $155,000 +super, with the role based in Melbourne. * Work for a leading global infrastructure manager * Competitive salary of $130,000 - $160,000 +super +bonus * Opportunity for equity compensation after 1 year

What you'll do:

As a Senior Investment Accountant, your primary role will be to provide comprehensive financial services to an open-ended core infrastructure fund and its associated entities. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks from managing monthly unit pricing to ensuring tax compliance. Your ability to deliver investor and fund performance reports will be crucial in this role. Additionally, you will drive process improvements to enhance efficiency within the team.

• Drive process improvement.
• Handle management and board reporting.
• Manage treasury and liquidity for your fund.
• Oversee statutory financial reporting and audit.
• Deliver investor and fund performance reporting.
• Manage monthly unit pricing and management accounting.
• Ensure tax compliance including trust distributable income and company tax calculations.
• Provide financial, management, board, tax, and investor reporting for the fund and its associated entities.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Investment Accountant position will bring a wealth of experience in the finance industry. With a CA or CPA qualification under your belt, you have spent 5-8 years honing your skills post-qualification. Your excellent communication skills allow you to effectively liaise with various teams and stakeholders. You are friendly, confident, highly organised, and able to perform under pressure. A collaborative mindset is key in this role as you'll be working closely with various teams.
