What you'll do:
As a Senior Financial Accountant – Real Estate Investment, you will play an integral role in managing the financial reporting cycle across a broad range of property assets. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing management accounts, supporting audit processes, producing IFRS-compliant reports, and facilitating tax return submissions. You will also be involved in preparing investor communications, monitoring debt compliance, assisting with fund establishment activities, and overseeing asset disposal accounting. Success in this role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit finance team. Your efforts will directly contribute to transparent reporting and sound financial management practices that underpin the continued growth of the business.
- Prepare monthly management accounts for all entities within the property portfolio, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
- Assist with the half-year review and year-end audit process for all funds and corporate entities by providing timely and accurate financial information.
- Support the preparation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) financial reports as well as detailed cashflow statements for various stakeholders.
- Facilitate the preparation of income tax returns for all entities, collaborating closely with internal teams and external advisors to ensure compliance.
- Prepare trust distribution statements and annual tax statements, maintaining meticulous records for high-net-worth investor funds.
- Contribute to the preparation of half-year investor reports for high-net-worth funds by compiling clear and concise financial data.
- Monitor debt facility compliance by tracking covenants and reporting requirements across multiple financing arrangements.
- Assist with the establishment of new funds, including acquisition accounting for newly acquired properties within the portfolio.
- Manage accounting processes related to asset disposals and coordinate the wind-up of trusts in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

To excel as a Senior Financial Accountant – Real Estate Investment, you will bring significant experience in financial reporting within property investment or related industries. - Ability to compile clear investor reports by synthesising complex financial data into accessible formats for stakeholders.
- Familiarity with debt facility compliance requirements including covenant monitoring and lender reporting obligations.
- Exposure to fund establishment processes such as acquisition accounting for new property investments or similar transactions.
- Competence in managing asset disposals from an accounting perspective as well as coordinating trust wind-ups in line with regulatory expectations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to problem-solving within multidisciplinary teams.
