As a Management Accountant you will play an integral role in supporting the delivery of outstanding care services by ensuring robust financial management across all divisions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will see you collaborating closely with both internal teams and external partners to deliver accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and practical solutions that enhance operational effectiveness. You will be instrumental in maintaining compliance with policies while actively contributing to process improvements that benefit residents’ experiences. - Collaborate with external stakeholders such as auditors, regulatory bodies, and funding agencies to ensure full compliance with relevant standards.
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of system processes to guarantee accurate and timely reporting of financial performance.
- Undertake end-of-month reporting by compiling and disseminating comprehensive financial performance reports that are both timely and useful.
- Provide essential support during audits by liaising with external auditors and preparing necessary documentation as required.
- Manage end-of-period activities including processing journals, accruals, and account reconciliations to maintain accuracy in financial records.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis and offer recommendations aimed at cost reduction and efficiency improvements throughout the organisation.
- Assist operational teams through business partnering to drive effective budgeting processes and informed financial planning decisions.
- Support the creation and maintenance of budgets, forecasts, and financial models that underpin strategic organisational choices.
- Prepare, review, and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory as well as regulatory reports in line with internal controls.
