Investment Specialist

The Investment Specialist will be working across the retail & institutional reporting, supporting the broader distribution team. Internally you will be working with the investment teams, operation's, legal risk and compliance. Externally you will be engaging with advisers & research managers, private clients, platform providers and dealer groups.

The role is looking for someone who has had experience in financial services, and has a basic understating of funds management.

Role Responsibilities:


• Co-ordinate and manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly institutional reporting.
• Work with operations to prepare and distribute RG97, unit distribution and performance metrics to platforms, clients, and industry databases.
• Prepare and co-ordinate responses to requests from external parties, including Research Houses, Platforms, and Databases. These may include general account enquiries, general product enquiries, fund performance queries and fund distribution queries.
• Use tools such as Mercer, Morningstar, and Attribution Models to provide performance analytics to advisers and internal teams (competitor analysis, attribution, performance, exposures etc.)
• Prepare monthly performance reports for the sales and investment teams.
• Documentation of new procedures and revision of current procedures.

Role Requirements:

  • Strong PC proficiency, especially in MS Excel, MS Word and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience in financial services is a must. ( 2-4 years experience)
  • Tertiary qualifications.
