Business Development Manager - Wholesale

Our client is seeking a driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager to expand and manage relationships with wholesale investors. This role focuses on building strategic partnerships, driving capital inflows, and representing a leading real asset investment platform to a sophisticated investor base.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving and cultivating relationships with wholesale clients (IFA's, dealer groups, advisers, brokers). The role requires candidates with funds/asset management sales experience, and strong proven wholesale relationships.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales, and business development across all strategies to wholesale clients.
  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of client relationships, ensuring strong retention and increased investment allocations.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and portfolio reviews to support client decision-making.
  • Develop and execute a targeted sales plan to grow assets under management across relevant strategies.

Role Requirements:

  • Proven track record in business development or distribution within asset management, investment products, or related financial services.
  • Existing wholesale relationships.
  • Deep understanding of investment products, portfolio construction, and the needs of sophisticated wholesale clients.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently at senior levels.
