You will be joining an established domestic bank as a Risk & Compliance Manager within a dynamic and growing team with a strong focus on development and progression.

About the role:
Responsibilities include:
- Monitor and interpret regulatory changes from ASIC, APRA, and legislation to ensure proactive compliance.
- Embed a strong risk culture across all departments through consistent frameworks and best practices.
- Develop and maintain risk appetite statements and lead enterprise-wide risk assessments.
- Prepare clear, insightful risk reports for the Executive Team and Board.
- Develop a high-performing risk team with cross-functional capabilities.
- Engage with internal/external auditors, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure transparency and confidence.
- Oversee risk incident management, ensuring timely remediation and continuous improvement.
About the you:
You have:
- Extensive experience in risk and compliance within banking or financial services.
- In-depth understanding of regulatory obligations, particularly those set by ASIC and APRA.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a genuine commitment to mentoring and team development.
- Advanced analytical thinking and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret risk data and craft a compelling narrative.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence and engage stakeholders across all levels.
- A collaborative and proactive approach, continuously seeking opportunities to drive improvement and add value.
