Customer Claims Consultant

Looking for people with a genuine desire to assist people through challenging situations and start their career in the banking industry. You will engage with customers across different product portfolios, providing solutions to bring their accounts in order. You will engage with customers through various communication channels, providing answers and knowledge to customers.

Your duties will include:

  • Managing inbound and outbound calls.
  • Assessing customer situations to provide appropriate solutions.
  • Resolve customer concerns or complaints related to policies
  • Educating customers on banking technology to enhance their experience.
  • Achieving agreed key performance measures while balancing commercial outcomes.

Essential in this role:

  • Prior experience in or customer service is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Patience and Empathy is your key to success in this role
  • Attention to detail and adherence to regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently

Key Requirements:

  • 38 hours per week working between Monday- Friday, anywhere from 8:00am-8:00pm on a rotational roster.
  • Must be able to pass a National Police History Check and 2 Referee Checks.
  • Role is located in Southern Suburbs
  • Must be able to commit to full time hours on an initial 9-month contract
