  • Manage and support a robust talent pool of quality candidates, encouraging them to consider rewarding and sometimes more challenging teaching opportunities.
  • Provide expert advice, support, and consultancy services to clients and stakeholders on complex talent acquisition matters within the education sector.
  • Guide and mentor Talent Acquisition Officers on best practices related to teacher recruitment processes and issues.
  • Ensure all teacher talent acquisition activities align with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures to maintain compliance and uphold ethical standards.
  • Collaborate across the Teacher Recruitment Team to ensure prioritisation of urgent vacancies and agility in filling roles as needs arise.
  • Analyse recruitment data and prepare detailed reports on various talent acquisition issues to inform decision-making for clients and stakeholders.
  • Foster an equitable, ethical, safe, and inclusive work environment that supports diversity among staff and candidates.
  • Perform other suitable duties consistent with the responsibilities of the position as directed by supervisors or nominated delegates.

What you bring:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in recruitment or talent acquisition roles within any sector, demonstrating your ability to manage end-to-end hiring processes effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills that enable you to build rapport with candidates, colleagues, Principals, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced influencing and persuasion abilities that allow you to encourage candidates towards considering new or more challenging teaching positions.
  • Proven conflict management skills that help resolve sensitive issues amicably while maintaining positive relationships within teams or with external partners.
  • Outstanding organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise tasks efficiently when managing multiple vacancies under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Quick learner who can rapidly acquire proficiency in new systems such as Springboard (talent acquisition) and ServiceNow (ticketing), ensuring seamless workflow integration.
