What you'll do:
As the People and Culture Partner based in North Sydney, you will play an integral role in shaping the future of the organisation’s workforce. Your day-to-day responsibilities will see you collaborating with senior leaders to craft people strategies that align with business objectives while championing an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive. You will be instrumental in scaling values-driven initiatives across the company—ensuring these principles are woven into every aspect of work life. From guiding managers through complex HR issues to overseeing compliance with employment legislation and leading recruitment campaigns for new talent, your influence will be felt at every level. - Collaborate closely with the executive team to design and implement an inclusive people strategy that enhances employee experience and drives performance throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
- Scale and embed organisational values into everyday practices by developing programs that foster a sense of belonging, trust, and collaboration among all staff members.
- Partner with the Chief Operating Officer to coordinate operational aspects of human resources including onboarding, performance management, employee relations, learning and development, as well as compensation and benefits.
- Guide and coach leaders on a wide range of HR matters such as talent planning, performance management processes, remuneration frameworks, rewards systems, recruitment strategies, employee counselling, training initiatives, workplace health and safety protocols.
- Develop and drive impactful HR initiatives focused on learning programmes, employer branding efforts, manager enablement workshops, as well as performance feedback mechanisms to enhance overall employee experience.
- Review business metrics related to retention rates and employee satisfaction in order to recommend systemic improvements that support organisational goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor for leaders regarding departmental people plans by providing insights on necessary changes or ongoing developments.
- Work collaboratively with payroll officers to ensure accurate employment records are maintained in line with legislative requirements while addressing any payroll-related queries from employees.
- Oversee compliance with employment law by updating policies as needed; manage risks associated with Fair Work Australia regulations; investigate claims; provide industrial relations advice; ensure all documentation meets legal standards.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes including drafting position descriptions, advertising roles through appropriate channels, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews and reference checks; negotiate employment conditions; manage onboarding activities; facilitate smooth transitions during terminations or redundancies.

- Comprehensive understanding of key HR programmes including performance management systems, leadership development pathways, organisational design principles, talent management frameworks, compensation structures and employee relations protocols.
