What you'll do:
As a Learning and Development Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the business by streamlining training processes. You will identify skills gaps and be proactive in implementing learning and development functions across the business. Your understanding of the demands of this position will enable you to champion our vision and values, support team members, and deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Building strong relationships with all employees
- Ensuring that training and development remains a retention piece for the business
- Conducting regular surveys with employees to gauge engagement on current training plans
- Working closely with HR to understand motivations, skills and IQ/EQ/AQ of all new and current employees
- Ensuring all staff receive effective onboarding sessions conducive to success
- Attentive execution of assigned administrative tasks including creating course material in LMS, certification collection and maintenance, reporting on training trends
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Learning and Development Coordinator role brings a wealth of experience in using LMS and HRIS tools as well as SCORM tools. Your experience in presenting and facilitating workshops will be invaluable in this role. A basic understanding of Current Key Business Technologies and concepts is essential along with strong Microsoft Office skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
