The Role:
We're looking for an Associate-level lawyer with 2–5 years of post-admission experience to join a leading General Insurance team. The successful candidate will work across a mix of litigation and advisory matters, with exposure to high-quality files involving marine insurance, personal injury, public liability, and/or property damage (including coverage, defence and recoveries).
You'll work closely with senior lawyers and partners on a diverse and high-quality caseload, while also mentoring junior team members and managing matters autonomously.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing a variety of advisory and litigated insurance files

Preparing detailed legal advice for clients

Drafting court documents, correspondence, and witness statements

Engaging with experts and counsel
-
Appearing at court and managing procedural steps in litigation

Contributing to a collaborative team environment, including mentoring juniors
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:
-
2–5 years PQE with experience in one or more of: marine, personal injury, public liability, or property damage insurance

Steady at managing matters from end to end, including court work
-
A clear and concise legal writer
-
Motivated, curious and commercially minded
-
A strong team player who enjoys contributing to a supportive, high-performing team
