The Department for Education has a clear vision – to build a stronger future for children and young people by making South Australia’s public education system world-class. We are one team, state-wide, working together to provide high quality services across early childhood, education and training.
Our Digital Strategy includes 17 key reform initiatives, one of which reflects the establishment of an ICT Corporate Business Partnering function.
We recognise that currently, there is a variance across corporate divisions in terms of their technology and process modernisation. Through the establishment of a business partnering function, central leaders will be supported by their ICT Corporate Business Partner to establish an understanding of their current technical and process environment and its suitability to support their business, and identify opportunities for improvement through the use of digital technologies. Corporate divisions will be supported to develop a clear path for improvement over time, ensuring that central operations are as effective and efficient as possible in the delivery of support services to schools and preschools across the state.
The ICT Corporate Business Partnering team will play a key role in driving the ICT Services divisional and departmental strategic vision to ensure corporate divisions are enabled to provide high quality services to sites, and will partner closely with executives to connect lines of business and ICT strategies and initiatives to long term business plans and objectives.
To establish this model we are now seeking to engage a number of high performing, ICT professionals with a passion for business improvement and stakeholder engagement. Reporting to the Director, Business Improvement, we are seeking 1 x Team Leader who will undertake team leadership responsibilities and manage a small portfolio, and 3 x ICT Business Partners who will be responsible for managing allocated client portfolios end-to-end.
Members of the Business Partnering team will join a large, progressive and forward-thinking team with a reputation for delivering client-centric outcomes. With over 300 employees and a number of contractors, staff work collaboratively across the division and broader department to facilitate and maintain contemporary, best-practice ICT services and solutions. Our staff are empowered to apply a solution-focused approach to support the delivery of strategic objectives, and contribute to a fast paced working environment where performance is recognised, rewarded and celebrated.
