Procurement Officer

What you'll do:
As a Procurement Officer, your role will be integral in supporting the team's daily procurement activities. You'll be responsible for managing documents, engaging with stakeholders, ensuring pipeline visibility, and conducting market research. Additionally, you'll take minutes for Sourcing Committee meetings. Your role will also provide you with development opportunities such as shadowing contract negotiations and supplier briefings, and potentially leading low-risk, lower-value procurement opportunities.
- Manage and organise important documents
- Engage with stakeholders to draft documents and respond to supplier clarifications
- Ensure pipeline visibility by prompting stakeholders on deadlines
- Take minutes for Sourcing Committee meetings
- Conduct comprehensive market research
- Shadow contract negotiations and supplier briefings
- Potentially lead low-risk, lower-value procurement opportunities such as simple and non-complex RFQs
