Save job

An exciting opportunity to join a value-based organisation in Perth. You will support financial and procurement operations, ensuring contractual compliance, operational efficiency, and sustainability throughout the contract lifecycle. You’ll also play a key role in the rollout of a new contract lifecycle management system, helping to embed best practices and drive continuous improvement.

What you'll do:

  • Keep accurate records of all active contracts, including key terms, renewal dates, and compliance requirements.

  • Manage contract variations and renewals promptly to support smooth procurement processes.

  • Lead the rollout of a university-wide contract lifecycle management system (CLMS), including setup, integration, user adoption, training, and change management.

  • Act as the main CLMS administrator—providing support, resolving issues, implementing improvements, and monitoring system performance.

  • Work closely with Procurement, Legal, and Finance teams to review, draft, and negotiate contracts, ensuring alignment with laws and university policies.

  • Help develop and track KPIs for contracts to ensure timely and compliant delivery.

  • Identify and manage contract risks, working with stakeholders to find practical solutions.

  • Be the primary contact for contract-related queries across the university, offering advice and resolving concerns.

  • Maintain proper documentation, ensuring all contracts are signed and filed correctly, and conduct compliance checks as needed.

  • Produce reports on contract status, deadlines, renewals, and performance to support informed decision-making.

What you bring:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in business, finance, supply chain, or equivalent experience.

  • Strong background in procurement or contract administration with solid knowledge of processes, systems, and risk management.

  • Ability to interpret complex legal and financial terms and explain them clearly to stakeholders.

  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with internal teams and external vendors.

  • Proven project management skills—able to set priorities and collaborate across teams.

  • Commitment to sustainability, diversity, and inclusion in procurement practices.

  • Experience supporting users of digital systems, ideally with system implementation or upgrades.

  • Proactive in identifying contract risks and working with others to find practical solutions.

  • Current National Police Clearance, showing adherence to compliance standards.
