Contract Administrator
An exciting opportunity to join a value-based organisation in Perth. You will support financial and procurement operations, ensuring contractual compliance, operational efficiency, and sustainability throughout the contract lifecycle. You’ll also play a key role in the rollout of a new contract lifecycle management system, helping to embed best practices and drive continuous improvement.
What you'll do:

Keep accurate records of all active contracts, including key terms, renewal dates, and compliance requirements.

Manage contract variations and renewals promptly to support smooth procurement processes.

Lead the rollout of a university-wide contract lifecycle management system (CLMS), including setup, integration, user adoption, training, and change management.

Act as the main CLMS administrator—providing support, resolving issues, implementing improvements, and monitoring system performance.

Work closely with Procurement, Legal, and Finance teams to review, draft, and negotiate contracts, ensuring alignment with laws and university policies.

Help develop and track KPIs for contracts to ensure timely and compliant delivery.

Identify and manage contract risks, working with stakeholders to find practical solutions.

Be the primary contact for contract-related queries across the university, offering advice and resolving concerns.

Maintain proper documentation, ensuring all contracts are signed and filed correctly, and conduct compliance checks as needed.

Produce reports on contract status, deadlines, renewals, and performance to support informed decision-making.
What you bring:

Relevant tertiary qualification in business, finance, supply chain, or equivalent experience.

Strong background in procurement or contract administration with solid knowledge of processes, systems, and risk management.

Ability to interpret complex legal and financial terms and explain them clearly to stakeholders.

High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with internal teams and external vendors.

Proven project management skills—able to set priorities and collaborate across teams.

Commitment to sustainability, diversity, and inclusion in procurement practices.

Experience supporting users of digital systems, ideally with system implementation or upgrades.

Proactive in identifying contract risks and working with others to find practical solutions.

Current National Police Clearance, showing adherence to compliance standards.
