What you'll do:

As a Sales Consultant, you will be at the forefront of our client's operations. Your primary role will involve developing new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships. You will understand each client's unique business operations to provide tailored recruitment solutions. Additionally, you will take charge of selecting suitable candidates for various positions, arranging interviews, and briefing candidates about the company and role. Your commitment to candidate care will see you maintaining regular contact with candidates throughout the recruitment process. You will also be responsible for maintaining up-to-date CRM database records. Your proactive approach will drive you to identify and develop new business opportunities through various strategies.

  • Develop new business with prospective clients and maintain regular contact to build positive, productive, and long-term corporate relationships.
  • Service, nurture, and develop existing client relationships through meetings, functions, and events.
  • Understand clients’ business operations and solve their recruitment needs.
  • Select and match candidates for appropriate positions, arrange interviews and fully brief candidates on the company and role.
  • Take responsibility for candidate care and keep in regular contact with candidates.
  • Professionally manage the recruitment process from beginning to end.
  • Maintain CRM database records ensuring all information is always up-to-date.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through sales, business development, and networking strategies.


What you bring:

The ideal Sales Consultant brings a wealth of experience in sales or recruitment within a corporate environment. You are degree qualified with an eagerness to thrive in a target-driven sales setting. Your excellent communication skills enable you to present effectively while your proactive approach coupled with your strong work ethic propels you towards success. You demonstrate persistence, resilience, drive, and determination in all that you do. Furthermore, your ability to source new candidates using various methods sets you apart.

  • Sales or recruitment experience within a corporate environment is preferred.
  • Degree qualified with a desire to work in a target-driven, energetic sales environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation abilities.
  • Experience working in a role that you are on the phones or speaking with people daily.
  • Proactive and positive approach with a strong work ethic.
  • Persistence, resilience, drive, and determination to succeed.
  • Ability to source new candidates using various methods including headhunting, referrals, job boards, and networking.

Although there is a preference for corporate experience this role is open to individuals who have worked in jobs that require you to be customer facing.
