Robert Walters is working with a leading consultancy in the construction and infrastructure space that is seeking an Administration Assistant to support one of their high-performing business units. About the Role
Reporting to the Business Unit Principal and Office Manager, you’ll be the heart of the office - delivering high-level administrative support, managing the day-to-day operations, and ensuring the smooth and professional running of the business unit. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative team environment and is passionate about exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage front desk reception: answer calls, greet visitors, coordinate meeting rooms and bookings
- Provide general administrative support: formatting documents, binding reports, filing, ordering supplies
- Organise domestic travel and process expenses in line with company policies
- Assist with monthly finance admin including credit card and EFTPOS logs, accounts payable and reconciliations
- Maintain the office environment including facilities coordination and supplies
- Contribute to a positive and professional workplace culture
What You Bring
- Prior experience in an administrative or office support role (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Highly organised with great attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, professional services environment
