Part-Time Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Officer

This growing media company has a collaborative, down to earth culture and is expanding its finance operations by bringing AP/AR in house. They are seeking a reliable, detail focused Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Data Entry Officer to support the team. The flexible part time role suits someone organised and adaptable, as invoice volumes vary, with strong potential to develop into a full time position.

The Role

Reporting to the leadership team, your responsibilities will include:

• Processing supplier invoices and customer payments
• Accurate data entry into accounting systems
• Managing AP and AR records and documentation
• Reconciling invoices and following up discrepancies
• Assisting with payment runs and account queries
• Maintaining organised financial files and records
• Supporting general administration and finance tasks as required

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Highly accurate with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working with numbers and data entry
• Organised and able to manage changing workloads
• Reliable, proactive, and a strong communicator
• Experienced in AP/AR or general accounts administration (preferred)
• Familiar with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or similar (advantageous)
