Accounts Payable Officer

An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a well-established and growing organisation based in Malaga. Offering an immediate start, this full-time position will commence on a temporary basis with strong potential to become permanent. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the end-to-end accounts payable function while supporting the wider finance team.

Immediate Start | Malaga | $40-$45 per Hour + Super | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Robert Walters is partnering with a well-established and growing industrial organisation to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Officer for an immediate start opportunity based in Malaga.

This position offers full-time hours and will initially commence on a temporary basis, with strong potential to transition into a permanent role for the successful candidate.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in managing the end-to-end accounts payable process while providing support across finance and administration functions.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end accounts payable processing
• Matching, coding and processing supplier invoices
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Raising and managing purchase orders
• Processing supplier payments and overseas payments
• Maintaining invoice approval workflows
• Ensuring supplier payments are processed accurately and on time
• Assisting with month-end finance processes
• Supporting office administration activities as required
• Coordinating office supplies, facilities and general administration duties
  
  About You
  
  To be successful in this role, you will possess:
• Proven experience in a dedicated Accounts Payable position
• Experience processing a high volume of invoices
• Exposure to manufacturing, engineering, industrial or heavy industry environments will be highly regarded
• Experience using Greentree ERP or a similar ERP system
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
• Accounting, bookkeeping or finance qualifications will be advantageous
