Temp-to-Perm Opportunity | Perth - Kewdale

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a well-established business in a broad finance role with exposure across accounting, payroll, reporting and operational support.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role will suit a commercially minded and hands-on finance professional who enjoys ownership, improving processes and contributing to business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Complete bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare month-end reconciliations and support reporting deadlines
• Maintain weekly cashflow forecasting and analysis
• Assist with budgeting and financial planning activities

Payroll & Compliance

• Process fortnightly payroll accurately and on time
• Prepare BAS reconciliations and GST journals
• Manage supplier payments and international payment reconciliations
• Support financial compliance and internal controls

Business Support & Process Improvement

• Coordinate finance administration and operational activities
• Maintain company records and registers
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Support broader finance initiatives as required

About You

You will bring:

• Accounting, Finance or related qualification
• 5+ years’ experience within accounting or finance environments
• Strong reconciliation and financial reporting capability
• ERP system experience (NetSuite, Pronto, JD Edwards, MYOB Advanced or similar advantageous)
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Strong organisational and stakeholder management capability
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
