Our client is a highly regarded accounting and advisory firm experiencing continued growth and seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their Business Services team in West Perth.

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with Managers and Directors, manage a diverse client portfolio and further develop your technical and advisory capabilities in a supportive environment.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality accounting, taxation and advisory services across a broad range of clients including companies, trusts, family groups and privately owned businesses.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns

• Managing a portfolio of clients across various industries

• Reviewing BAS and compliance work prepared by junior staff

• Tax planning and advisory support

• Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management

• Assisting clients with ATO compliance matters and reviews

• Preparation of CGT and FBT calculations

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

• Mentoring and supporting junior and intermediate accountants

• Working closely with Managers and Directors on advisory projects

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• CA or CPA qualification

• Previous Australian Public Practice experience

• Strong taxation and compliance knowledge

• Excellent communication and client relationship skills

• A proactive and solutions-focused mindset

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• A genuine desire to mentor and support junior team members
