What you will do:
As a Finance Business Partner, you will enjoy a varied and dynamic role at the heart of strategic planning and operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating closely with senior management to provide timely and accurate financial insights that inform key business decisions.
- Leading the annual budgeting process, working with various departments to ensure alignment with organisational goals and priorities.
- Developing detailed financial models to evaluate new projects, investments, and business cases, offering clear recommendations based on data-driven analysis.
- Preparing forecasts that anticipate future trends and support proactive planning across all areas of the organisation.
- Monitoring actual performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances, and working with stakeholders to implement corrective actions as needed.
- Presenting complex financial information in an accessible way to non-financial colleagues, fostering understanding and engagement across teams.
- Supporting month-end and year-end processes by ensuring accuracy in reporting and compliance with relevant standards.
- Building strong relationships across teams to encourage open communication and collaborative problem-solving on financial matters.
What you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
- A recognised accounting qualification (such as Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant) or equivalent practical experience (highly desirable).
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings clearly and concisely.
- Strong interpersonal skills that enable effective collaboration with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and other financial software tools for managing large volumes of data efficiently.
