Management Accountant

Join a well-established organisation in the Barossa Valley as a Senior Accountant and provide support to the Financial Controller. Play a key role in managing financial operations, preparing reports, analysing data, and driving strategic decisions. Make an impact in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare month end Profit & Loss statements and consolidated reports for each business entity.
• Compile financial data for management reports, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Analyse gross profit margins and average costs, investigating discrepancies and implementing improvements.
• Oversee asset management, including purchases, disposals, depreciation, and holding values.
• Manage the promotional fund and prepare monthly reports.
• Provide support to the Financial Controller and Finance Officers as needed.
• Assist with various finance tasks to ensure smooth operations.

What You'll Bring:

• A degree in accounting or commerce, with CA or CPA membership.
• At least five years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for delivering precise results.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex financial information effectively.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
