Join a leading private wealth management firm as a Payroll Officer in Sydney CBD. Reporting to a supportive and experienced Payroll Manager, you'll manage end-to-end payroll for 420 employees while contributing to process improvements and compliance activities. Offering a hybrid working model (3 days office, 2 days WFH), a collaborative team culture, and genuine career development opportunities, this role is ideal for an experienced payroll professional seeking growth.

The Role

  • Manage end-to-end monthly payroll for approximately 420 employees.
  • Process new starters, terminations, incentive payments, parental leave, redundancies, and ad hoc payments.
  • Complete superannuation processing, payroll tax, and Single Touch Payroll (STP) lodgements.
  • Prepare payroll reconciliations, month-end journals, and reporting.
  • Respond to payroll enquiries and provide support to internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to payroll process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Assist with audits and compliance requirements.

About You

  • 3-5 years' payroll experience in a medium to large organisation.
  • Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with ADP, Workday, or similar payroll systems is highly regarded.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Payroll or Accounting qualifications preferred.
