Risk Assurance Manager
Join a high-performing Risk & Compliance team playing a key role in strengthening enterprise risk, control effectiveness, and operational resilience as part of a major transformation program. Reporting to the Head of Line 2 Assurance, you will lead and contribute to Line 2 assurance activities that provide independent insight into the organisation’s risk and control environment.

Reporting to the Head of Line 2 Assurance, you will lead and contribute to Line 2 assurance activities that provide independent insight into the organisation’s risk and control environment.
What you’ll do
- Lead end-to-end assurance reviews, from planning through to reporting and stakeholder engagement
- Assess adoption of risk standards and identify control gaps and improvement opportunities
- Validate Line 1 control self-assessments through structured assurance programs
- Deliver targeted deep-dive reviews across key risk and process areas
- Analyse risk data and trends to identify themes and emerging issues
- Build strong stakeholder relationships to drive uplift in control effectiveness
About you
- Experience in internal audit, Line 2 assurance, or controls testing
- Proven ability to lead audits or assurance engagements end-to-end
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
- Solid understanding of risk, controls, and assurance frameworks
Highly regarded
- Knowledge of CPS 230 – Operational Risk Management
- Experience in operational resilience and business continuity
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into meaningful risk insights
