As a Transaction Manager – Securitisation and Debt Funding based in Sydney, you will be entrusted with overseeing the seamless execution of complex financial transactions from inception through completion. Your day-to-day activities will involve close collaboration with various stakeholders including originators, legal experts, rating agencies, investors, and internal teams. You will be responsible for developing detailed project plans that outline critical milestones while anticipating any potential obstacles that could impact delivery timelines. By leading thorough due diligence efforts and preparing insightful presentations for decision-makers, you will help ensure that every transaction meets stringent regulatory standards. - Oversee all aspects of securitisation and debt funding transactions from initial structuring through to successful closing, ensuring each stage is managed efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate closely with originators, legal advisors, rating agencies, investors, and other parties to ensure all documentation is complete, compliant, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Develop comprehensive transaction timelines and milestones, proactively identifying potential challenges or delays and implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
- Lead the due diligence process by gathering, reviewing, and analysing all necessary information to mitigate risks associated with each transaction.
- Prepare clear and compelling presentations as well as communication materials for both internal teams and external stakeholders involved in each deal.
- Assist in creating marketing materials aimed at attracting potential investors by highlighting the strengths of each transaction structure.
- Stay informed about evolving market trends and regulatory changes within securitisation and debt funding to ensure best practices are always followed.
- Support the continuous improvement of processes within the team by sharing insights gained from previous transactions and suggesting enhancements where appropriate.
- Foster positive working relationships across departments to facilitate smooth coordination throughout the lifecycle of each deal.
- Contribute to a culture of knowledge-sharing by participating in training sessions or mentoring less experienced colleagues when required.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline providing you with a solid foundation for understanding complex financial products.
- At least 3-5 years’ experience working within securitisation, structured finance or debt capital markets enabling you to navigate intricate deal structures confidently.
- Comprehensive knowledge of securitisation frameworks including credit analysis techniques and legal documentation requirements relevant to these transactions.
- Exceptional project management abilities allowing you to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.
- Outstanding organisational skills which enable you to manage competing priorities effectively without compromising quality or accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills so you can convey technical information clearly when interacting with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) along with familiarity with financial modelling tools supporting robust analysis during deal evaluation stages.
- Demonstrated capacity for working collaboratively within teams as well as independently when required by specific project demands.
- A keen eye for detail combined with a methodical approach ensures all aspects of each transaction are thoroughly reviewed before final approval.
- Up-to-date awareness of current market trends plus regulatory developments impacting securitisation or debt funding activities.
