This is an exciting opportunity to build a meaningful career within a respected Australian fund management business, contributing across a broad range of operational, client-facing, and marketing functions.

Fund Operations

  • Manage transaction settlements and fund cash management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Lead the month-end reporting processes, liaising with fund administrators, auditors, and external service providers as required.
  • Assist in the coordination of the annual audit process, helping to collate documentation and manage associated deliverables.
  • Support the preparation of distribution and tax reporting, ensuring investors receive accurate and timely information.
  • Monitor fund compliance obligations and maintain records in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Manage relationships with key service providers, including fund administrators, custodians, and legal and compliance advisers.
  • Prepare performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare Board reporting materials, ensuring governance documentation is accurate and well-presented.

Investor Relations

  • Process investor applications and redemptions, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for all investors.
  • Respond to investor queries in a timely and professional manner, escalating complex matters to senior team members where appropriate.
  • Support the onboarding of new platforms and wealth manager relationships, assisting with documentation and operational requirements.
  • Maintain and service relationships with family office and high-net-worth (HNW) investors, supporting the broader investor relations effort.
  • Assist with distribution reinvestment initiatives and efforts to support growth in investor holdings.

Marketing & Communications

  • Produce investor newsletters, presentations, and marketing materials that communicate fund strategy, performance, and positioning.
  • Maintain the firm's website, investor mailing lists, and social media channels, ensuring content is current and consistent with the firm's brand.
  • Coordinate marketing promotions, investor events, and media exposure initiatives.
  • Manage submissions and reporting to research rating groups and fund data platforms.

The ideal candidate will be an organised, proactive, and client-focused professional who is eager to contribute to a dynamic team and develop their career in funds management. You will bring a genuine interest in financial markets, a keen eye for detail, and the interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues, investors, and service providers alike.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fund operations, investor relations, or a comparable role within asset management, funds management, or financial services.
  • Working knowledge of managed fund processes, including settlements, investor applications and redemptions, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience managing investor relationships, particularly with family offices, HNW investors, or wealth management platforms.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver high-quality investor communications, marketing materials, and presentations.
  • Strong understanding of Australian regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to registered and unregistered managed investment schemes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex information clearly and professionally.
