An opportunity to join a growing private credit platform providing tailored financing solutions to middle-market borrowers and asset-backed opportunities. Working directly with senior investment professionals, you will gain exposure across credit analysis, portfolio management, fund operations and transaction execution.
Private Credit Fund | Alternative Investments
The Role
You will support the investment team across the full credit lifecycle, from transaction assessment and execution through to portfolio monitoring and investor reporting. The role offers broad exposure and the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as your experience develops.
Key Responsibilities
Credit & Investment Support
- Assist with credit analysis, due diligence and financial modelling
- Support assessment of new lending opportunities and investment recommendations
- Conduct industry, market and borrower research
- Assist with preparation of investment committee papers and transaction materials
- Gain exposure to deal structuring, documentation and execution processes
Portfolio Management
- Monitor portfolio performance and covenant compliance
- Assist with borrower reporting, financial analysis and ongoing credit reviews
- Support portfolio valuation and risk monitoring activities
- Prepare portfolio updates and management reporting
Fund Operations & Investor Reporting
- Assist with fund cash management and liquidity monitoring
- Support loan settlements, drawdowns and repayment processes
- Prepare investor reports, fund updates and performance reporting
- Liaise with external service providers, legal advisers and counterparties
Development & Progression
This role provides a strong foundation in private credit and offers exposure to all aspects of a growing investment platform. Over time, there will be opportunities to:
- Take ownership of portfolio management responsibilities
- Participate in transaction execution and borrower meetings
- Support capital raising and investor engagement activities
- Progress into an Investment Analyst or Associate position
Candidate Profile
- Recent graduate or professional with 0–3 years' experience
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Accounting or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commercial judgement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in private credit, corporate lending, leveraged finance or alternative investments
- Proactive, curious and keen to learn in a fast-paced environment
