Customer Service Specialist
A leading Medical Devices organisation in Melbourne's South East is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Specialist to join their professional team. This role offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering exceptional service and ensuring every customer interaction is handled with care and precision. * Part time position 10am-3pm Monday-Friday * Hybrid role, 2 days WFH 3 days in office - Braeside location
What you'll do:
As a Customer Service Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping positive experiences for every individual who interacts with the organisation. Your day-to-day activities will involve engaging with customers via phone, email, or in person, always striving to provide clear information and resolve any issues with warmth and professionalism.
- Deliver high-quality customer service through telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions, always maintaining a courteous and considerate approach.
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries by providing accurate information about products and services, ensuring all concerns are resolved with sensitivity and efficiency.
- Process customer orders, returns, and general enquiries with meticulous attention to detail, guaranteeing each transaction is completed smoothly.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all customer interactions using appropriate systems, supporting transparency and accountability across the team.
- Become proficient in the use of ORACLE software to streamline processes and enhance the overall customer experience.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Customer Service Specialist position brings proven experience in delivering compassionate support within busy environments. Your background demonstrates not only technical proficiency but also an ability to connect meaningfully with people from diverse backgrounds.
- At least two years of previous experience working in customer service
- Previous experience in the Medical and Healthcare industry is desirable, but not essential
- Strong communication skills
- Strong interpersonal abilities
- Your computer literacy includes proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing applications and databases
- Previous experience with ORACLE Software, or a willingness to learn
- Your organisational skills allow you to manage time efficiently while handling multiple tasks
- You maintain a positive attitude even during challenging situations
