Hands-on HRBP role where you’ll work closely with leaders, own recruitment, and keep day-to-day HR running smoothly. You’ll manage ER matters, support workforce planning, and improve processes in a practical way. This is a genuine step up with real ownership, giving you the chance to build capability, strengthen your HR foundation, and make a visible impact across the business while continuing to grow your experience.

I want someone who gets in, figures it out, and makes things better without being asked twice.

This is a true HR Business Partner role. You’ll sit close to the business, build credibility quickly, and be the person leaders go to when things are messy, moving fast, or not working the way they should.

What you’ll actually do

You’ll own the full employee life cycle, but more importantly, you’ll make it work properly.

  • Run end to end recruitment and build talent pipelines so we’re not always on the back foot
  • Partner directly with leaders on structure, capability, and workforce planning
  • Handle employee relations matters with confidence and good judgement
  • Keep on boarding tight so new starters land well and stay
  • Support payroll processes and fix issues quickly without drama
  • Lift the standard of contracts, PDs, and HR documentation
  • Use data properly – attrition, hiring, workforce trends – and turn it into something useful
  • Own compliance without slowing the business down
  • Drive practical improvements to systems and processes
  • Support injury management and return to work without it becoming bureaucratic
  • Actually contribute to culture, not just talk about it

What you bring

You’re not waiting to be told what HR should look like. You know what good looks like and you get on with building it.

  • Strong HR generalist experience in a fast moving, operational environment
  • Confident with ER and able to back yourself in conversations that matter
  • Solid recruitment capability, not just coordination
  • Comfortable around payroll and HR systems
  • You build trust quickly and don’t shy away from leaders
  • Commercially minded – you get the balance between people and results
  • Straight talking, practical, and low ego
