Instructional Designer (3-Month Contract)

We’re seeking a highly capable Instructional Designer who can hit the ground running and support a fast-paced pipeline of work across safety, compliance, and role-specific training. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives working independently, delivering high-quality digital learning solutions with speed and precision.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Transform existing content (Word, PowerPoint) into engaging:
  • E-learning modules (Articulate 360)
  • Instructional videos
  • Supporting materials (handouts, guides, flyers)
• Design visually polished, user-friendly learning assets using strong graphic design principles
• Develop training solutions across safety, compliance, and bespoke programs
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to bring content to life
• Manage workflow and course development through Jira

What You’ll Bring

• Expert-level Articulate 360 skills (essential)
• Proven experience creating high-quality e-learning content end-to-end
• Strong design capability across Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver at pace in a remote-first environment
• Confident stakeholder engagement skills

Nice to Have

• Exposure to SuccessFactors

Working Model

• Based in Sydney or Newcastle
• Hybrid – 1 day per week in the office
• Fully effective working remotely

Contract Details

• 3-month contract (potential extension)
• $600 per day + superannuation

Interview Process

• Potential second-stage face-to-face
