Leading e-commerce platform is looking for a Shipping & Logistics Analyst to join their team in the CBD of Sydney.

• 12mth max-term initial contract
• Pays up to $110,000 + super

It is a hybrid position across shipping operations, analytics, carrier performance and technical integration support. The role is not a traditional supply chain reporting role. It suits someone who enjoys getting hands on with data, operational problems and fast moving partner environments.

The successful candidate will help the team understand what is working, where issues are emerging and what actions will improve the seller and buyer shipping experience. They will work closely with AU Shipping program owners, carrier partners, product and technical teams, and teams supporting larger sellers using 3PP, WMS and integration tools.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and maintain clear performance reporting for AU Shipping, including label volume, adoption, carrier performance, delivery speed, SLA adherence, tracking quality, operational incidents and customer impact.
• Turn operational data into actionable insights, helping the team identify trends, root causes, commercial opportunities and areas requiring intervention.
• Help stand up monitoring and operating rhythms for the new managed delivery network solutions, including dashboards, thresholds, alerts and escalation paths.
• Support carrier and partner performance management by identifying service gaps early and working with internal teams and external partners to drive resolution.
• Act as a practical technical bridge for the shipping team, supporting discussions on APIs, tracking events, label flows, integrations, operational defects and 3PP or WMS related seller needs.
• Improve team efficiency by simplifying manual processes, consolidating reporting and creating repeatable ways of working as the shipping portfolio grows.

About you:

• 4+ years of experience in operations analytics, data analytics, business analysis, logistics operations, marketplace operations or a related role.
• Strong analytical skills, including SQL and advanced Excel or Google Sheets, with experience building dashboards, trackers or operational reporting used for business decisions.
• A practical understanding of logistics, delivery operations, marketplace operations, eCommerce, carrier networks, 3PLs or last mile environments.
• Technical curiosity and confidence working around systems, integrations or data flows. Exposure to APIs, tracking events, WMS, 3PP tools or product and engineering teams is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication & engagement skills
