Procurement Manager

* A pivotal role in delivering end to end procurement across a range of indirect categories including ICT, professional services and goods & services * NSW Government Agency * Sydney Location/Hybrid Working * 6 month contract (visibility for extension)

What You'll Do:

• Provide source to contract support across a variety of indirect categories including ICT, professional services and broader goods & services
• Act as the primary day-to-day lead for the external consulting partner, holding them accountable for pace, quality, outcomes, and commercial intent while constructively challenging where necessary.
• Proactively identify and manage delivery risks between projects, change impacts on business processes, and ensure alignment with financial targets.

What you bring:

• Demonstrated experience leading complex delivery programmes
• Exceptional executive presence combined with strong communication skills that establish credibility at CFO/CEO/Steering Committee level.
• Background in procurement management within large organisations.
• Strong interpersonal skills enabling you to collaborate effectively across functions while balancing challenge with cooperation to maintain trust among stakeholders.
