Leading manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their team in the Blacktown area. You will join a global leader in its field.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide engineering and maintenance services to manufacturing and administration to ensure safe and reliable operation of all plant, equipment, buildings and infrastructure.
• Deliver engineering and construction projects to support business development, growth and sustainability.
• Coordinate breakdown maintenance activity for plant, equipment, buildings, property and infrastructure
• Provide expertise for trouble-shooting reliability and plant/equipment performance problems
• Assist the engineering team on project design, fabrication, construction and commissioning depending on the engineering requirement.
• Manage contractor performance to ensure that agreed service standards are met
• Ensure that all maintenance and construction work is carried out safely.

About you:

• Unrestricted electrical licence and experience working at heights
• Proven experience across commercial work, preferably within the chemical industry.
• Experience:
• Installing and maintaining electrical wiring, outlets, switches, panels, etc.
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Diagnosing electrical faults using testing devices
• Repairing or replacing defective wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
• Knowledge and experience of automation system (PLC/ DCS)
• Troubleshoot PLC I/O, sensors, actuators, drives, and control circuits.
• Excellent communication & engagement skills
